Sustainability
The Resolve Endless Promise 25 is a top-rated eco-friendly daypack and has earned our Better Trail Certified distinction. For starters, the pack is made from recycled materials and designed to be fully recyclable at the end of its life. Nemo places a strong emphasis on designing recyclable products, focusing on minimizing material variety to simplify recycling. To achieve this, the Resolve is made entirely of polyester, primarily Nemo’s Cero fabric. This proprietary material is made from recycled and recyclable polyester and features 100% Global Recycled Standard-certified recycled yarn. Its durable construction also gives the Resolve one of our highest longevity ratings. Additionally, this pack features a PFAS-free durable water-repellent (DWR) treatment. The only drawback at the product level is that it does not include any Bluesign-approved materials.
Nemo continues to improve its sustainability practices as a brand. First, the company is working toward eliminating virgin plastics from all packaging materials. Additionally, if your pack needs a repair, Nemo offers comprehensive, in-house repair services for almost all of its products. Repairs covered under warranty are free, while non-warranty repairs are available for a reasonable fee. At least one of the factories Nemo partners with, Unicorn Recreation Products Co., is Fair Trade Certified. The brand has also entered the resale market through a partnership with Out&Back, allowing customers to trade in used Nemo products for a cash payment or a Nemo gift card. Nemo tracks its greenhouse gas emissions and publishes a comprehensive annual impact report.
Below we break down in detail all of the Resolve Endless Promise 25's sustainability attributes at the product and brand level, including links to in-depth articles on relevant topics. For more, see our guide to the best hiking daypacks and our review of the Resolve Endless Promise 25.
