Tristan Weisz is originally from Grand Forks, North Dakota, and now calls Jackson, Wyoming home, where he works as a restaurant server in the heart of town. He spends his free time outside—backcountry skiing, trail running, and bikepacking through big landscapes. The Tetons hold some of his favorite ski memories, but he’s just as happy riding any bike with two wheels or soaking up summer sun near a body of water. Notable adventures include soloing the Upper Exum route on the Grand Teton, bikepacking across southern Spain into Africa and back, and skate skiing across the Boundary Waters Wilderness with dogsled support. His go-to gear? A lightweight running vest, a squeeze filter, and always, a bike.
