Mike is a long-time local of Bend, Oregon, and the owner of Sunnyside Sports, one of Bend’s most long-standing bike and ski shops. A graduate of Western Washington University, Mike spent formative years at the nearby Mt. Baker, and now logs dozens of days each season at Mt. Bachelor. One fun nugget: Mike never hits the slopes without his trusty Gore-Tex shorts—an extra layer he swears by for staying warm on wet lift rides. When he's not skiing, you can find him mountain biking, surfing, or heading out on road trip adventures with his dog, Hap.
